Malaysian Innovative Healthcare Symposium (MIHS): The Big “I” Competition
WHAT IS IT?
It is an idea-pitching competition where participants brainstorm to come up with a revolutionary solution to improve the healthcare landscape in Malaysia.
THEME:
Telehealth: Healthcare Without Borders.
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
Design a novel telehealth solution with the aim of improving the health and well-being of the public.
I. PRELIMINARY ROUND: PROPOSAL WRITING
Submit a 3-page proposal by 17th July 2021 (Sat) through mihs.competition@gmail.com. Shortlisted finalists will be notified by end of August 2021 via email.
II. FINAL ROUND: POWERPOINT PRESENTATION & VIDEO PITCHING
Finalists are required to submit a PowerPoint presentation & a 5-min pitching video by 19th September 2021 (Sun). An online presentation will be conducted on 25th September 2021 (Sat). Pre-recorded pitching video will be published on MIHS Facebook page for voting from 22nd September (Wed) until 29th September 2021 (Wed).
III. HOW TO JOIN?
Open to all pre-university students, undergraduates or young adults of any professions under the age of 35.
Participants are allowed to form a team up to a maximum of 5 people.

IV. HOW TO REGISTER?
Participants can register using the following link. Registration portal opens on 1st June 2021 and closes on 11th July 2021 at 11.59 pm GMT +8.
