PIPI 6.0 took us further by featuring the theme “Beyond Boundaries: Advancing in Pharmaceutical Industry”

The 6th edition of PIPI, an initiative from the MPS-YPC is geared towards promoting the width and breadth of the pharmaceutical industry. This year, the team and I decided to do a 2-day event to cater to a wider variety of audiences. We decided to incorporate different modes of delivery, including interviews, plenary lectures and dialogues. 

Day 1 was geared towards career transitions. The topics were designed to provide fresh graduates and working pharmacists with an introduction to the industry, followed by how to transition into different roles within the workplace and ending with insights on the various challenges of working in our field.

Day 2 looked at soft skills. It was designed to teach pharmacists key skills to excel in their role, especially in a highly competitive environment. Soft skills are important for career growth and therefore, the team and I brought together leaders from the pharmaceutical industry to discuss various qualities that are critical for success.

In summary, PIPI 6.0 has nurtured a multitude of talents, cultivating great leadership and teamwork in our young generation of pharmacists.
